We went camping and both these guys had a blast.
He has an ever-expanding vocabulary, and the funny thing is since he started talking he will say a word once or twice clear as day then he'll just refuse to say it again, until he randomly throws it into his everyday conversations. With all the words he can say and the signs he uses (some of which he made up) we can communicate pretty easily most of the time.
His favorite things to say are names, I think because he knows who they belong to and how much he loves them. He recently started saying Papa, Rae-rae, and Owen.
He loved going to the aquarium so much we are probably getting him a little fish tank for Christmas
The penguins were one of his favorites
Growing into a full-fledged toddler has had it's ups and downs. He is so helpful, he likes to help clean up and when its time for a diaper change he will get a diaper for me. He is fearless, which is great when having him do something new, or eat a new food, but not so fun when he climbs everything and scares me half to death. He is very aware of what he does or doesn't want, we try to respect his need for this type of independence but at the same time, sometimes you have to do things you don't to want to... resulting in an upset boy-luckily his tantrums have been pretty mild up to this point, (I've only been embarressed in public once haha)
This is new go-to face when I pull out my camera, even if I'm not taking his pic he will do this until I do.
